Regular or Non-exclusive Contract
Permanent or non-exclusive contracts are the go-to for our producers for buying beats online. This type of contract has many advantages and is very powerful. A non-exclusive agreement does not bind rights to any particular beat. A producer can sell the same beat an unlimited number of times until they sell it exclusively. A non-exclusive agreement allows you to retain ownership of the master recording and “own the master”.
Exclusive Contract
An exclusive contract is a special form of contract that can be a very lucrative source of income for you. If an artist wants to be the last buyer of a beat, they buy an exclusive deal.
Free Contract
A free contract gives you the opportunity to offer a test drive. Artists can now download beats and allow them to be used strictly for non-commercial purposes. Maybe they just want to record a track with your beats and see if they like it enough to release it as a single or part of a project.
Subscription retains ownership of the master and configuration under beats license agreement. If you want to use it commercially, you must purchase a non-exclusive or exclusive license. This Agreement gives you the authority to control your intellectual property.
